Following their recent sell-out UK tour supporting King King, and their Planet Rock Roadstars UK tour with Broken Witt Rebels, and the recent announcement of their October 2017 tour with The Kentucky Headhunters, Bad Touch are pleased to announce they’ll be undertaking a headline tour in November with special guest Mollie Marriott. The tour is extensive as the visit all points on the compass, North & South plus West & Eest.
“We’re excited to be taking to the road in November with Mollie,” says Bad Touch’s lead singer, Stevie Westwood. “Not only is she only a great vocalist in her own right, but she’s also the daughter of the legendary guitarist and singer Steve Marriott (Small Faces, Humble Pie). She’s part of rock royalty. It will be great to have Mollie touring with us. She’s got a killer voice. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Bad Touch – the 5-piece rock band from Norfolk recently released their second studio album “Truth Be Told”. The album features the single“99%” remixed for radio by the legendary Rolling Stones engineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey. The album celebrates classic rock with Southern boogie influences, with heavy guitar riffs and an iron-clad, tight rhythm section, in the great tradition of Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin. We loved the album and the boys are even better live Bluesdoodles said “This is definitely a classic rock with the heat of the south, with finger-licking good guitar and tasty spicy vocals that make this album destined to excite the listener.” Read more HERE
Mollie Marriott, daughter of former Small Faces and Humble Pie singer/guitarist Steve Marriott and step-daughter to singer Joe Brown has spent her music career in the wings, having worked mostly as a backing singer with numerous artists including Oasis and Joe Brown.
Mollie’s sassy soulful blues vocals are full of classic influences. She can find a raw emotional edge that the best soul and rock singers have – at times rootsy and upscale through to modest and classy with a sustained relaxed feel.
