British Blues Award winner Dani Wilde burst onto the International blues scene in 2007, opening for Jools Holland at London’s Royal Albert Hall and signing to prestigious blues record label Ruf Records.
Dani Wilde’s new single Pluto (original composition) released on Vizztone. recorded in the recent Lockdown, starting with the self-penned track ‘Pluto’. A departure from Wilde’s blues influences, Wilde explains how this track is “inspired by classical composers such as Holst who capture something otherworldly in their music, and by folk artist Joni Mitchell. I didn’t want to be put in a genre box with this one – it’s just expression.”

Bluesdoodles thoughts on ‘Pluto’ the first of three singles Dani will be releasing over the Summer. Gentle acoustic guitar sets the platform for Dani’s distinctive melodic vocals. The lyrics shine with an intensity as emotions are gathered gently and shared with an urgency. This is a hidden side of Dani that we want to hear more off.
