Says Nikka – “I’m really excited to have recorded the new album with a rhythm section and a string quartet! I have some songs I’ve always wanted to record with this lineup and make into a very special album featuring this music I love. BRENT COBB UK Dates Plus Debut Album OUT March 24th
SHINE ON RAINY DAY DEBUT ALBUM OUT MARCH 24TH via Atlantic Records
Black Crow – from Debut album Shine on Rainy Day
Brent performing the laid-back, melancholic album track ‘Black Crow’ from a session recorded at the Sam Philips Studio in Tennessee.
Full of textures, tones rooted deep in the lexicon that is the sound of Americana.
After the huge success of his debut dates in the UK in February, Brent Cobb will be returning for a full UK tour in May plus two festival appearances including The Great Escape. On his earlier visit Brent sold-out headline shows in London and Manchester and stunned crowds in Glasgow at the Celtic Connections festival with his raconteur’s wit, tales of rural life in the Deep South and heart-rending performances of songs from his critically acclaimed debut album Shine On Rainy Day.
Released in the US last year to widespread praise, Shine On Rainy Day made number 11 in Rolling Stone Country’s Top 40 Albums of 2016. The album saw him enlist the help of his cousin and fellow Georgian, Dave Cobb, the Grammy Award-winning producer who has worked with Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson, Sturgill Simpson and album guest Jason Isbell.
2017 is a busy year for Brent with him heading out on the road across the US supporting the likes of Nikki Lane The Cadillac Three, Little Big Town, Jamey Johnson and the aforementioned Chris Stapleton, as well as playing California’s Stagecoach Festival, before hitting the UK in May.
“…what promises to be Cobb’s breakout LP as a singer-songwriter.”— Rolling Stone
“…masterfully understated wit…”— NPR Music
“It’s a soft, acoustic ballad, different from what you may have already heard from Cobb. The Georgia-born singer/songwriter has a knack for joyous, energetic songs that celebrate life and the good things in it.”— Noisey
“Let me just say that Brent Cobb is pretty damn good.”— Sounds Like Nashville

‘MOONLIGHT’ – NEW SINGLE OUT NOW
Rising star Dan Owen has announced his brand new single ‘Moonlight’, celebrating the release of his latest EP Open Hands and Enemies out today through LAB Records.
‘Moonlight’ is a distinctly intimate insight into Dan’s stunning songwriting and jaw-dropping vocal abilities. It’s one of the most touching moments on the Open Hands and Enemies EP, a haunting love ballad that finds Dan at his most effortlessly smooth.
Bluesdoodles reviewed the album – The only complaint I have and it is a big one, Open Hands and Enemies is immense for an E.P. but Bluesdoodles wants a full-blown twelve track album so that we can get to know all the intricacies that makes Dan Owen such a marvelous musician. The E.P. Open Hands and Enemies from the man with the velvet smooth vocals that packs a punch. Four tracks a teaser of a full album We are waiting Dan get the message we want more! The Swamp Stompers ‘All My Loving (ft. Holly Tapp)’
‘Catchy grooves, intelligent songs and youthful hunger. One of my absolute favourites.’’ – Lloyd Spiegel (Australian Blues Legend)
The Swamp Stompers play funky rock and blues with heavy grooves. ‘All My Loving’ is a heavy, brooding, heart-felt track that shines a light on the issue of male depression. The song, which features Luke Ligtenberg and Holly Tapp on vocals (‘The Voice’ finalist 2014), is a mature new direction for The Swamp Stompers. Lifted from the band’s new 5-track EP Suspended Suns,‘All My Loving’ sounds like Sticky Fingers met John Butler in a shady back alley and exchanged a flurry of well-aimed blows. Listen to the new single All My Loving here.
The vocals are catchy and the guitar riffs infectious. Describing themselves as funky rock and blues. They definitely have a vibe that is immersed in rootsy rock traditions blending the grooves with hints of spicy reggae beats and so much more. The sound is dirty and hard blues may be stretching the definition but they are definitely a powerhouse trio that entertains. The Swamp Stompers emerged from the dirty backwaters of Lismore (NSW),and have stomped their mark on prominent Australian festivals such as Caloundra Music Festival (QLD), Blues at Bridgetown (WA), and the Great Southern Blues Festival (NSW).
New single ‘All My Loving’ was recorded and mixed by Paul Pilsneniks (Dope Lemon, Powderfinger) at Music Farm Studios in the Byron Bay hinterland. The track was produced by up-and-coming producer and all-round good guy Torsten Gustavsson, and mastered by Hamish McDonald at Paradyme Studios in Taree (NSW).

Bad Touch Single Truth Be Told is Greater than 99%
The first radio single “99%” (listen below) taken from BAD TOUCH’S new forthcoming album “Truth Be Told” – released by Bad Touch Records on Friday 2nd December.
The single 99% brings back the joy of summer fun and festivals, with finger licking guitar riffs and a southern vibe of hot sun, pepper sauce and bourbon. Yes, 99% is southern rocking blues the single has been re-mixed for radio by legendary Rolling Stones engineer/co-producer, “Chris Kimsey” (Sticky Fingers, Some Girls, Steel Wheels, Emotional Rescue).
BAD TOUCH hail from Norfolk but sound like a Southern blues-rock band with southern rock influences in the tradition of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Black Crowes. Fresh from supporting Kentucky Headhunters on their recent UK tour. November sees Bad Touch back on the road on a co-headline tour.
BAD TOUCH embarks on a nationwide UK co-headline tour with Australian band MASSIVE from 19th November and will support Whiskey Myers at the Boston Arms in London on 1st December, followed by a performance at Planet Rockstock on 3rd December.
CO-HEADLINE TOUR WITH MASSIVE * SUPPORTING WHISKEY MYERS IN LONDON
APPEARING AT PLANET ROCKSTOCK ON
SATURDAY 3rd DECEMBER 2016
Premiered online worldwide on Tuesday 20th September. Glenn Hughes’ official music video for his new single “Heavy”. from his new studio album “Resonate” which is released worldwide by Frontiers Music Srl on Friday 4th November 2016.
The album features his live solo band members, Soren Andersen (guitars and co-producer), Pontus Engborg (drums) and newcomer to his band, Lachy Doley (keyboards), in addition to long-time friend and drummer, Chad Smith (of Red Hot Chili Peppers), who joined them in the studio for the opening and closing numbers.
Having listened to the single, all I can say is Wow there is rocking intensity from the opening drums as cymbals clash, Glenn’s vocals, huge keyboard chords to the last full-on musical cascade of rock with the last heavy squeal from Glenn. Heavy is rock with staying power, the title may be Heavy but this is rock that grooves, there is not a static moment. There is a deftness of touch that makes this rock that is infectious.
Teenage guitar sensation Aaron Keylock will release his highly anticipated debut single Against The Grain on 6th October.
While listening to Against The Grain check out Aaron’s tour dates below he is visiting a town near you with Wilco Johnson, Joanne Shaw Taylor and the Planet Rock Roadstars throughout October, November and December.
Before releasing an official single he has already been highly touted as one of the UKs hottest acts to watch out for; Kerrang! declared him the “New Solo Superstar” in the 2015 Fresh Blood List (Alongside PVRIS, Slaves, SHVPES, Qween Kwong & Knucklepuck); at Bloodstock 2014 Metal Hammer wrote “It’s ludicrous that someone as talented as Aaron Keylock is a mere 16 years old but if anyone can shred like Gary Moore, this young buck can.” Total Guitar called him one of 2016s ‘Ones to Watch’ after seeing him at Dot to Dot saying “TG caught his set and we walked away with our brain thoroughly melted” and Classic Rock included him in the Sounds of and Class of 2015 and have called him “blistering” and a “precocious talent”.
Already a road warrior, he has been gigging heavily since the age of 11, playing over 200 shows including the Jazz Café, Alexandra Palace, Shepherds Bush Empire. He has supported Blackberry Smoke, The Answer, The Graveltones, The Cadillac Three and he has played over 50 Harley Davidson Rallies – motorbikes would fill the room with smoke as they drove around him on the stage. Other memorable shows include; aged 14 being bundled out of a Camden venue as the London riots raged up and down the street, heavy metallers head-banging to Against The Grain at Bloodstock in 2014, playing to a full tent at Download in 2015, he blew the stage away at Dot to Dot Festival the same year and following a show in Manchester with Blackberry Smoke, he bedded down in a workshop surrounded by motorbikes, snakes, rifles and a python.
