To celebrate their upcoming special guest appearance on EXTREME’S December UK tour, on Monday 31st July, Dan Reed Network will launch the official music video for their single “Infected”

Black Country Communion New Album and UK Dates

Taking their name from the industrial area in Britain, and the birthplace of both Hughes and Bonham, Black Country Communion released their self-titled debut album in 2010, and with that, unleashed their brand of take-no-prisoners hard rock to a world thirsting for music with substance.

Back with BCCIV – the hiatus is suspended.. Solo career  projects are on hold and Black country Communion are back with new album and two live dates in the U.K. to kick-start 2018. BCC has cultivated a reputation not only as amazing songwriters, also a powerful live act, as they challenge and motivate each other to make the best music they can.

 

Black Country Communion New Album and UK DatesNow, seven years on from its inception, Bonamassa feels the time is right to bring the original BCC line-up back for album #4.

“We had around 4 months to write this album, and I think the results speak for themselves,” comments Glenn Hughes. “All four of us wanted to make a record that stood up to the first three albums, however, the new album is more of a progression, as we wanted to be careful not to repeat the previous albums. A lot has happened since we last recorded the Aferglow album in 2013, so, in many ways, the new album shows BCC with a much harder, riffier and bigger and bolder sound.  If you’re looking for a folk album, this ain’t the one.”

 

 

Black Country Communion New Album and UK Dates

All songs on the new album were co-written by Glenn Hughes and Joe Bonamassa.  Glenn wrote all the lyrics on the album except for the song ‘The Last Song For My Resting Place’ which was written by Joe.

Here’s a breakdown of the songs on “BCCIV” in the words of Glenn Hughes:

COLLIDE
“I had written the riff to this song in the morning of the first day of writing BCCIV. Joe came over and I played him the riff, and we finished the song before lunch. I had a feeling that Collide would set the pace for the record.”

OVER MY HEAD
“This was a song I had written after a session with Joe. It was kind of like One Last Soul where I had written a song and was unsure if it would fit our style simply because it was more mainstream. One Last Soul definitely clicked with Rock fans, and got a lot of Radio airplay. Over My Head is in the same ballpark, big groove and memorable chorus. I can hear it on the radio.”

THE LAST SONG FOR MY RESTING PLACE
“I was intrigued by the notion of Wallace Hartley (violinist and band leader on the Titanic).  The fact that he played everyone off the ship to the detriment of himself brings you back to a more selfless time in our history. I don’t believe the conditions are around in 2017 for something or someone like that to step forward and be recognised.  I felt that his story and this song played well on this album. His violin is in a private collection and survives to this day.” – JB

“Joe had two parts to this song: the intro and outro where the track is suited with a mandolin and fiddle. The middle part, heavy and dramatic and dark. Absolutely love Joe’s vocal on this song. A tale of the Titanic going down into the deep, and a violin that would perish alongside its many fateful passengers.” – GH

SWAY
“A swagger riff leads the way on this track. We changed the groove, when Jason suggested it should have a “Smooth Criminal” Michael Jackson vibe. This was how Jason’s Dad, John, would have approached it in Led Zep. I’m mesmerized by the beat in the verse, and when it hits the chorus it’s full on Classic Rock, once again the vocal is carrying the message.”

THE COVE
“Joe captured the mood brilliantly on this song. I’m still shaking my head in astonishment.”

“I wanted to write a song about my love for dolphins. Each year thousands of these beautiful souls are murdered by hunters in the coastal town of Taiji, Japan. They are drove into the Killing Cove and brutally slaughtered. I have been working with Ric O’Barry from the Dolphin Project for four years, and told him I had written a song about this senseless and horrific scenario for BCCIV, that has been happening for decades.”

“My heart aches as I watch on live stream what happens in the Cove. I ask you all to listen to this song and understand how deeply affected we all are as animal and sea life protectors. The Dolphin Project has changed my life, and to my dying day I will be of service to be a protector of all inhabitants that live in the sea. There will be a video for this song. Thanks to Ric and his son Lincoln for supplying the footage.”

THE CROW
“It was time to get up out of our chairs in the writing session and stand up to find a pulse for this rock song. All push and pull, coming and sounding like the Joe and Glenn song ‘Black Country’ from BCC1. I wanted to reference the Crow, who watches over our band.”

WANDERLUST
“Hats off to Joe for bringing this idea into the session with an insane verse groove. Love Derek’s grand piano lead into the last verse. I wanted to take the chorus to a very melodic Abbey Road vocal vibe. I’ve always been a wanderer, always returning, coming home with a sense of lessons learned and never leaving my spiritual path.”

LOVE REMAINS
“I wrote this song for my Dad on the flight back to the UK for his Memorial Service. When I went to record it, my Mom had also just passed away. So I sang it for the both of them. I was installed with a greater sense of gratitude. I used a mid-falsetto vocal on the chorus to add sensitivity to the melody that I had written. The content is quite simple. When the last breath is taken only love remains.”

AWAKE
“A song about living forever. A song for the Loyal. A song for the evergreen. I wanted to ramp up the chorus and relive the long nights of freedom.”

WHEN THE MORNING COMES
“The feeling I had with this song, was I had woken up from a dream and walked down the hill through the field to be by the water at my home. Most of my work involves themes of coming home to be by the sea. The last song on this album finds me in a safe place, almost like the ending of the Wizard of Oz, surrounded by Joe, Jason, Derek and Kevin. Our brotherhood – long may we continue.”

WITH YOU I GO **
“To find someone who can share your journey, is in the hands of fate. We meet many people throughout our lives, some relationships, are life lessons on how we grow and learn.
But when you have found or met your significant other, who happens to be your soulmate is absolutely life-changing. With You I Go is a song about, whatever happens, I’m with you, because it was meant to be. I’ve done my best, now you can rest, on my shoulder.”

Black To Blues opens with the Howlin’ Wolf classic ‘Built For Comfort.’ Here, they harnesses the song’s dark energy with foot-stomping burly riffage, impassioned whiskey and honey vocals, and a peaks and valleys arrangement that features virtuoso bursts of bluesy guitar brilliance, smoky quiet passages, and mountains crashing down climaxes.

Throughout the EP, the imaginative arrangements, soulful vocals, and subtle band interplay evoke the halcyon days of heavy blues acts such as Free and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac. On ‘Champagne & Reefer’ they mesmerise with deft slide guitar playing and powerful contrasting haunting and hefty dynamics. Other standouts include a raucous version of Muddy Waters’ ‘I Want To Be Loved,’ complete with jaw-dropping blues-rock guitar solos, and a clever rendition of Freddie King’s ‘Palace Of King”, there they “moved one note to make it more dark,” Chris reveals.

Before their five critically acclaimed albums, the 12,000-cap arena shows, topping the UK charts, and sharing the stage with superstars like Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, Alter Bridge,and of a Shinedown, the guys in the Kentucky-based active rock powerhouse were just teenagers finding their way jamming on the blues. On the heels of their well-received ‘Kentucky’ album, the quartet issues the masterful 6-song EP, ‘Black To Blues’, a collection of blues classics and obscurities re-imagined with the meaty moxie of classic BSC.  “A defining moment for me was realizing all the rock n’ roll that I loved came from the blues,” Chris says.

As a lead vocalist, Chris honed his burly pipes studying the power of the Texas Tornado himself, Freddie King, who they cover on ‘Black to Blues’ and, throughout their career, the group has always sprinkled in a few blues evergreens in their live set.  “The blues is such honest music. When you hear it, it’s like ‘I’m down on my luck, and, damn, that guy gets just how I feel.’” Chris shares. “I hope by sharing this music we have the beautiful opportunity to expose a new generation to the blues.”

‘Black To Blues’ pays homage to the fertile 1960s era of electric blues where the masters pushed boundaries with experimentation and volume. The EP includes covers by Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Freddie King, and Albert King. The album was recorded in a burst of fevered inspiration this past spring at David Barrick’s Barrick Recording, the same studio where the band recorded their recent albumKentucky.’ Self produced, tracked the music in two days, and favoured a raw, in-the-moment production aesthetic to capture the inspired sessions. Chris adds: “Our approach was to do these songs as we’ve written them, with attitude and heavy guitar.”

The blues is always a sage teacher, and making the ‘Black To Blues’ EP was a transformative experience for Black Stone Cherry.  Chris says: “It was humbling and freeing at the same time. It reignited our passion for this music, and it will definitely have an effect on our next album.”

Walter Trout is the beating heart of the modern blues rock scene. Respected by the old guard. Revered by the young guns. Adored by the fans who shake his hand after the show each night. After five decades in the game, Trout is a talismanic figure and the glue that bonds the blues community together, at a time when the wider world has never been so divided. He’s also the only artist with the vision, talent and star-studded address book to pull off a project on the scale of We’re All In This Together“It was quite a piece of work to get this record together,” he admits. “But I guess I have a lot of friends, y’know…?”

Before you even hear a note, We’re All In This Together has your attention. Drafting fourteen A-list stars – including Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Mayall and Randy Bachman – and writing an original song for each, Trout has made the most tantalising album of the year, and found solace after a run of solo albums that chronicled his near-fatal liver disease of 2014. “Now was the right time for this record,” he says. Battle Scars [2015] was such an intense piece of work, written with tears coming down my face. I needed a break from that, to do something fun and light-hearted. This album was joyous for me.”

Scan the credits of We’re All In This Together and you’ll find nods to every twist and turn of Trout’s electrifying backstory. There’s keys man and long-time friend Skip Edwards, who came up on the same early-’70s New Jersey circuit where Trout cut his teeth as the precocious lead guitarist for Wilmont Mews. There’s organ wizard Deacon Jones, the West Coast bandleader who brought a twenty-something Trout into the orbit of blues titans like John Lee Hooker and Big Mama Thornton. “Deacon sorta discovered me when I moved to LA in the ’70s,” reflects Trout“So I owe him.”

Since he struck out alone in 1989, Trout’s solo career has been every bit as celebrated. Touring tirelessly and spitting out classic albums that include 1990’s flag-planting Life In The Jungle, 1998’s breakthrough Walter Trout and 2012’s politically barbed Blues For The Modern Daze, he’s won international acclaim and enjoyed ever-growing sales in a notoriously fickle industry. Years on the road have also brought him tight friendships, as evidenced by 2006’s cameo-fuelled Full Circle album and this year’s unofficial sequel, We’re All In This Together. “The new album was originally gonna be called Full Circle Volume 2,”notes Trout“but I wanted to make the title a positive statement in this time of madness.” 

They say you can judge a man by the company he keeps. If that’s the case, then We’re All In This Together is further proof of Walter Trout’s position at the hub of the blues scene. This is the sound of an artist not just getting by with a little help from his friends, but positively thriving, on an album that is sure to light another rocket under his blooming late career. “I’m 66 years old,” considers Trout“but I feel like I’m in the best years of my life right now. Rise & Shine took shape as they toured throughout 2016 playing 215 show. The trio on stage are a firework display of energy and musical style lead by  frontman JD Simo; drummer Adam Abrashoff; and bassist Elad Shapiro. Touring across nine countries was inspirational SIMO hashing out chord changes in hotel rooms and tweaking song arrangements during soundcheck. It was a time of growth and self-improvement for everyone, and they became better friends, better musicians, and better people. At the same time, the outside world was changing. Political pundits were screaming at one another. Elections were pitting candidate against candidate, party against party, neighbour against neighbour. The need to write music that truly meant something — music that not only demonstrated the band’s explosive chops, but also sent a clear message — was greater than ever.

Rise and Shine with SIMO Forthcoming Album blurs the lines across genres as they look to future understanding the past influences whilst creating new contemporary sound. “If you go through my record collection and look at the more contemporary titles,” JD explains, “you’ll see the Roots, Wilco, Alabama Shakes, and Ryan Adams. I listen to a lot of old soul music, too. Isaac Hayes. Funkadelic. Bob Dylan. On Rise & Shine, I was just trying to cull from the vastness that is my normal music diet, and not trying to pander to some target that was easy to hit.”

Rise and Shine with SIMO Forthcoming Album was slowly  recorded working long hours moving at their own deliberate pace. “There was a lot more sonic experimentation going on,” remembers Adam. “Every track has a different sonic imprint,” JD adds. “We took great care to make each track’s sonic identity match the mood of the song. Even though that meant starting from scratch every day with how the studio was setup.”

A former session guitarist who’s played on nearly 500 albums, JD didn’t take Rise & Shine’s lengthy creation process for granted. “I’ve never worked on a record that took this long to record,” he adds. “I was so grateful to have that opportunity.”

“Control is all about taking back control of my music,” says Mollie. “It was important so this was the right single to start with. I’m in the driver’s seat going where I want to go. Shaman’s Harvest Red Hands Black Deeds Full of Missouri Magic. Their latest album as they cut across the genres, pulling the tones together with a dark and purposeful intent.  You know that this will be an album that will both challenge and intrigue when after the track listing on the album cover there is the phrase –  For the record, no goats were killed in the making of Red Hands Black Deeds. This conjures up the feel of a mystic pagan past, devil and music that will invoke the dark side of rock. The album has a depth of sound that evokes the past, reflecting the use of vintage amps, strong lyrics that rock around the beat pulling in Mowtown and the headlines of the day.

Summertime may be when the album is released; but to understand the anxiety that is apparent throughout the dozen tracks we have to go back to the inception of Red Hands Black Deeds. The journey of Shaman’s Harvest’s Album Red Hands Black Deeds Full of Missouri Magic began back in November 2016. A time of tension and anxiety in a divided nation deciding who would be the next President of USA. As they explore new concepts the maturity of sound and confidence in production reflects the ups and downs bands go through on and off the road since their debut album, Last Call for Goose Creekin, back in 1999. Shaman’s Harvest have persevered through singer Nathan Hunt’s battle with cancer. The quartet’s determination and focus has led them to an album that will stand out for its difference, with the use of melodic cadences that are beguiling building on the tonal texture of Nathan’s distinctive vocals. The lead guitar of Derrick Shipp lays down a mysterious melody with the rhythmic addition of Josh Hammler’s guitar.  Matt Fisher’s bass lays down grooves that are deep with an iron edge, and the beating drum of Adam Zemanek evoking memories from the past and draws the listener into the here and now of this album.  It is hardly surprising that they are in demand to play live ad reflected in the caliber of bands they have opened for AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Nickelback and Cheap Trick the list goes on but you get the picture.

The dozen track album adds to the discography with tracks that have layers of sound complexity delivered with ease. This is music which whilst challenging rests easy on the ear. It is music you want to listen to.

The title track and prelude takes us to the dark recess of our musical brain as a sonic picture is created. This is a hazy misty past full of dread as tribal memories are pulled to the surface of our memories. This has raw, primeval beats; a case of American Indian meets medieval courts. The vocals acting as the drone we are being taken to a different time and place where red hands carried out black deeds.  Then the sonic tone changes with a deep dark bass and cascade of guitar as The Broken Ones picks up on the theme hinted at on the opening number. Who are the Broken Ones? Anyone who has been disenfranchised, immigrants and native American ancestors of Hunt. The music has a purity of purpose a counterpoint to the cynical lyrics showing the past and now are mirror images of themselves with society broken.

The harvest of lyrics on the album has garnered together the feeling of the relentless and unchanging actions of people that create a dark chasm resulting in a fertile resource for songwriting and always that element that keeps us going, demanding change the hope it will change for the better.

Three tracks in and the vista opens with the first single of the album. The music has a crisp freshness and a chorus that has a catchy feel as we get The Come Up.  This is a track that swaggers with hope and energy as the sun bursts with Mowtown-fuelled energy from behind the darker clouds of previous tracks. An acknowledgement that sometimes you cannot change things.

Civil unrest and war connects the semi-acoustic, vocal lead number A Longer View and The Devil in Our Wake. Linking back to loss, marginalization and no clear path of solution.   Loss of homeland and identity leading to hatred and hurt. Into the mix is blues influenced, Soul Crusher as Texan guitar picks up the Mowtown foot tapping – let’s dance feel we all need some of this fun beat as a slave to our souls.  Keeping with the shading from the blues Off the Tracks.

The album keeps on giving, the lyrics and shaping of tones often gives a complete feel; this is music that the band cares about and have given deep thought to the track listing and the melding of tones from across the genres. Not leading to a mish-mash of tones and no sense of direction Red Hands Black Deeds is considered, thoughtful hand takes on a journey where we confront the hardship and reality of many people’s lives. The penultimate track cools the tempo down with acoustic stripped down country number Tusk and Bone. We need this space as we have explored the darkness of society. Leaving the last track and one more surprising twist in the road as Scavengers hit our speakers.  Yes, electric but has a stripped back natural feel as the vocals come from afar and the rough texture of the sound brings us back to primeval mysteries. There is still one more gift a moment of silence and then a hidden nugget of fun.

What is the UK Blues Challenge (UKBC)?

An annual event organised by the UK Blues Federation (UKBlues) at a different location in the UK at which a number of bands/acts compete in front of a panel of judges drawn from across the blues spectrum. The winning band/act is invited to represent the UK at the following year’s International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis and European Blues Challenge (EBC) which is held in a different European country each year.

The International and European Blues Challenges are organised by, respectively, the Blues Foundation  and the European Blues Union (EBU)

We are very pleased that this year’s event will take place at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool on Sunday 10th September 2017 starting at 16.00. More details can be found  and how to buy a ticket for the event HERE. UKBlues is excited to be bringing the blues back to the Cavern sixty years on!

How are the contestants in the UKBC chosen?

As an Active Member of the EBU meeting the EBU’s laid down criteria (see EBC rules here) and the sole UK Affiliate of the Blues Foundation, UKBlues are honoured to be invited to create and manage the selection process to choose the band or artist who will represent the UK at these prestigious events each year.
The first stage of the process this year saw a panel of more than 250 people from across the blues spectrum in the UK which included members of UKBlues, all UK based Active Members of the EBU, members of the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association, festival and gig promoters, writers (both online and print media), musicians, fans and blues supporters etc. being invited to submit the three UK acts that they felt would best represent the UK at the EBC and IBC.

Members of this panel were asked to place their choices in order (first, second, third) and points were awarded according to the position in which the acts are placed by you.

The 4 top scoring available acts after this process was complete were invited to participate in the UKBC where the contestants will perform in front of a panel of judges who will use the same criteria to award points to the contestants as are used at the EBC and IBC.
In a new departure this year, a fifth band will be invited to participate which will be selected from the bands who have been invited by Jessica Foxley Unsigned to play at the Great British Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Festival which takes place in Colne over the August Bank Holiday weekend –  These bands are, generally, under the radar and being selected to play at Colne is a big step up for them.

The band will be chosen by a panel of representatives of the Jessica Foxley Unsigned project and will be chosen on the strength of their performance at Colne.

The winner of the UKBC will be invited to represent the UK at both the 2018 EBC and IBC.

What are the selection and judging criteria?

When making their selections, the members of the panel are asked to bear in mind the following EBC rules which apply:

  • The leader of the band must have the nationality of the country he/she represents.
  • At least 50% of the members of the contestant bands must reside in the country they represent.
  • Acts who participated in a previous edition of the EBC, but did not win, may compete again after a period of 3 years.
  • Bands of which half or more of the musicians participated in a previous EBC with another band, may compete again after a period of 3 years.
  • Bands of which less than half of the musicians participated in a previous EBC with another band, may compete again after a period of 2 years.

Contestants at the UKBC, EBC and IBC are expected to perform at least 50% original music in their set and they are awarded points using the following criteria as laid down by the EBU:

  • Originality
  • Instrumental talent
  • Vocal talent
  • Stage presence
  • Blues content

Unsigned Artist Competition – Winners Announced playing live on main  stage at Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, Colne on Saturday & Sunday.

The festival requested unsigned acts… and received them by the bucket-load! Following an overwhelming response, The Jessica Foxley Unsigned judging panel chose 8 finalists to open the festival main stages this summer.

BD: I was delighted when Wilful PR sent me a review copy of your new album Bridges and the opportunity to find out yourselves, influence and lots more. When I saw you play live at Rockstock last December for me you were the band of the Saturday night.

A Thousand Horses, have answered the questions as a team hence four bands of fantasy and delight. Read more for an insight into Michael Hobby Lead Vocals; Bill Satcher Lead Guitar,  Zach Brown Guitar and Vocal & Graham Deloach Bass and Vocal

BD: What were your first musical influences growing up?
Thousand Horses:

Graham: I loved all of the classic rock n roll growing up, and still do! Led Zeppelin       is my favorite band of all time
Zach: My parents listened to oldies in the car when I was growing up. The first concert I can remember going to was The Beach Boys out at the lake near our house. I didn’t learn that there was music made after 1970 until a friend played the song Breakfast at Tiffany’s for me when I was 10 years old.
Bill:  The Beatles
Hobby: The Black Crowes

 BD: A Thousand Horses are making an impact, how did you get together and form the band and what is the significance of the name?

Thousand Horses:
Hobby: We formed the band in Nashville in 2010. Bill and I grew up together in Newberry, SC and met when we were 12 and 13 years old in a local music store. Graham is bills cousin so we would all 3 hang out every summer and play music. We formed ATH when we met Zach through a mutual friend in 2010. We named the band after a song we wrote when we formed the title A Thousand Horses.

We all write in the band together, separately, and with other writers here in town. Everyone in the band brings a great deal of creativity to song writing and our sound whether it be lyric, melody, or music, it’s a group thing. You never know where a song can come from or inspiration can spark!

BD: Bridges, is your follow-up album to your success with your debut Southernality last year. Produced by the Band, Corey Crowder & Dann Huff. With many involved in producing the sound who gets the final production say?

Thousand Horses:
Bill: Well, Corey Crowder and Dann Huff both really wanted to make the best A Thousand Horses record that we could, so at the end of the day we were the ones with final approval on the album and they wanted it to be that way. But they’re so badass that there wasn’t much to be debated about in the end.

BD:  How did you choose the tracks and then decide that Preachin’ To The Choir should be the single to proclaim the album?

Thousand Horses:
Graham: We love every song that is on the new album. We are always writing and creating new music and these are some of our favorites that we wanted our fans to hear. We chose ‘Preachin’ to the Choir’ as our first single because we thought it was a great song for our fans and a great first impression and representation of the new musical project (Bridges) as a whole.
 Bill: I think that every new song we write, record, lyric we jot down or melody we try and refine, we are always pushing it and ourselves to be better than what we have done before. So, in a way, yes it’s more challenging because we are pushing harder to be better. So most the pressure or challenge comes from within ourselves. As far as the album title “Bridges” goes, we decided to name the project that because we feel that song’s meaning encapsulates everything we have been through in the process of creating this new music. It’s a song about light heartily looking back and being able to laugh at the mistakes you made along the road of life. It kind of defines our point of view at this time in our lives.

BD: Bridges has seven of the thirteen tracks recorded live. Six of them at Metropolis Studio in London what do you feel this approach adds to the music and what made Metropolis the place to be for Bridges?

Thousand Horses
Zach: I think we wanted to show something real and raw with the Metropolis sessions. So much music coming out these days is so computer heavy that sometimes people don’t even know what artists actually sound like. We wanted to do something stripped down, one take, just us and our instruments. Metropolis has one of the only direct to vinyl machines left, so it was the perfect place to capture the live half of the record.

BD: I have always been interested in the lyrics of a song. Where do you get your inspiration for your songwriting?

Thousand Horses:
Hobby: Song writing has always been a passion of mine since I got my first guitar and learned to play it. Instead of learning other people’s songs I would make my own up. Lyrically I always wanted to have truth in my stories. A lot of what I write about is real life things that I have lived or been a part of.

BD: The music Industry is constantly evolving with changes often not for the better, how have the changes impacted on Thousand Horses Country Rock style of music?

Thousand Horses:
Graham: I think that the music has become more accessible as the industry and the genre of country music grows. This allows us to reach more people with our music.

 BD: I am sure you have many plans for 2017 and beyond for the band do you plan to tour UK and Europe?

Thousand Horses:
Zach: We love playing in the UK and are really looking forward to getting over to the rest of Europe. We have a few things in the works so stay tuned!

BD: Is there anything you want to say to your fans reading this interview?

Thousand Horses:
Hobby: Thank you for your continued support and believing in our music. We love ya and can’t wait to rock with you soon.

BD: If you were putting together the perfect fantasy band with members from across the years (dead or alive) who would you have playing

Thousand Horses:
Graham: Steve Gorman of The Black Crowes on drums, Roger Waters of Pink Floyd on bass/vocals, Billy Powell of Lynyrd Skynyrd on keys, Mike Campbell of The Heartbreakers on guitar, Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin on lead vocal.
Zach: Gotta start with the rhythm section cause it’s the backbone of the band. I always wanted to play drums like Keith Moon growing up so I’d have him on drums and Ashton Barrett, who played with Bob Marley, on bass. Then I’d add my favorite guitar duo, Keith Richards and Ron Wood, because they sound cool playing anything! I’d round it out with Freddie Mercury as the front man.
